The Penn Township municipal building
is located at 2001 Municipal Court, Harrison City, PA. The township's daily operation is
handled by several full-time employees including: a township manager, township
administrative assistant, township secretary, community development director, code
enforcement officer, technicians, and support personnel.

Bruce R. Light is the township manager. He is responsible for managing all of the daily
operations of the township and for supervising all of the other township departments,
unless statutes say otherwise. He reviews employment applications, recommends employee
discipline and discharge, and employs experts and consultants as needed. He prepares and
administers the township's budget, develops the township's long-range fiscal plan, and
makes the township's purchases. He keeps the board of commissioners informed about the
township's affairs, prepares their meeting agenda, and makes recommendations. He maintains
the township's records including the maps of utility lines and properties and the
inventory of township property and equipment.

Linda Iams is the township director of finance. The director
of finance performs a variety of routine and complex administrative level
tasks related to the accounting duties of the township, including but not
limited to: preparation of vouchers and daily deposits, assignment of budget
account numbers, payroll preparation including quarterly and end of year tax
reports, posting of accounts payable for general ledgers, analysis of
preliminary trial balances, preparation of monthly financial statements,
assists the township manager with the preparation of the annual budget, and
pursues collection of delinquent accounts.

Township Engineer -

The EADS Group is Penn Township's engineer. They evaluate all subdivision and site plans
to determine compliance with municipal regulations. They perform construction
inspections of roads, sewers, buildings, and other projects, as directed by the township
manager. They develop plans for road maintenance and building projects and investigate any
technical problems that may arise.

Leslie Mlakar is the township solicitor. He handles the township's legal affairs. He
prepares bonds, contracts, leases, and other legal documents for the township. He defends
all actions or suits against the township or any of its officers. He advises the township
and the board of commissioners on legal matters.

Dallas Leonard is the director of Penn
Township's community development department. He supervises and coordinates building code
enforcement, zoning, sewage enforcement, and all types and phases of development within
the township.
Penn Township's
Community Development Department is responsible for monitoring all
construction activities and related permits and approvals, as well as all subdivisions and
land developments. Before you begin any type of home project, you should contact the
department to see if you need any permits or special permissions to do such work.

Mike Stack is the building inspector for the community development department. In this
role, he issues permits for new homes, additions, signs, sheds, pools, and other
structures. He also enforces the township's zoning ordinances.

Bill Roberts is the community development technician. He does
inspections of construction sites involving land disturbance and
excavation. He will also be assisting with zoning issues and
