Community Development
Penn Township is best described as a “Bedroom Community”. A rural setting laced with beautiful diversified housing developments throughout its borders. Comprised of historic homes that predate the turn of the last century to the latest modern offerings such as those constructed in plans such as Shenandoah Heights, Blackthorne Estates and The Village on Kistler Ridge just to name a few. Penn Township through its Community Development Department and engaged Planning Commission strives to find a balance of growth in both residential and commercial venues while maintaining a rural-esque, friendly and safe community environment. A great place to raise a family now and into the future.
